Dr. Mike Martinsen received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He later received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Martinsen enjoys problem-solving, a skill that led him to his first career as an Engineer. As a dentist, he is most fulfilled when helping solve his patients' dental-related problems, such as fear of the dentist, embarrassment with smiling, or pain or difficulty while eating.
Dr. Martinsen has traveled the world to seek the highest levels of dental implant and aesthetic training. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education to provide the most up to date treatment available.

I've been coming to Fairview Dental for a couple of years and like the practice much better than my previous provider. Everyone is friendly, competent, and unrushed. I haven't seen a single temp. No sales pitches or arm twisting. Prices are right. The only issue I could imagine for new patients is that a first appointment might be several months in the future.
With great patience And a positive attitude, these folks answered all of my questions. The Office was very comfortable and clean. They scheduled me immediately to help with an emergent tooth situation. I can say this was the greatest experience I've had in a dentist office in 50 years on this planet.
Caring and understanding staff. I have autism and they were so supportive of whatever sensory issues I may have had during each appointment. And it wasn't easy for them; I needed a whole work up including implants as no other dentist could get in my mouth due to my own issues. Fully recommend. I've got my smile back!
